Statement from Karen Hebden:

Everyone at Derby Playhouse is very grateful for the fantastic support shown by the people of Derby and the wider, online community including the contributors to savederbyplayhouse.org and the Facebook group. We still have a long way to go to secure the long term future of the theatre so your support is still very much needed and appreciated.

An excellent way to help directly at the moment would be for you all to buy a ticket and come and see Treasure Island.

You could also donate money to the Derby Playhouse Fund. Cash can be donated at the Playhouse or cheques made payable to the Derby Playhouse Fund.

You could also sign the petition to the City Council by emailing petition@derbyplayhouse.co.uk

Please do keep writing to your councillors and MP, telling them how important it is for you to keep theatre in Derby
